MVFA Synopsis

Aggressive and determined, Michael Vincent Franks worked for a developer as Development Manager / Construction Coordinator of Office Buildings and Hotels.  It was at this time that he noticed the management of most construction companies lacked professionalism and integrity.  Pride seemed to be a thing of the past and quality had to be monitored constantly.  This lead him to an idea.

On January 11, 1987 – M.V. Franks & Associates was declared a corporation by the state of Illinois.  It would specialize in interior office construction and could sympathize with the building owners and property management on issues that a regular contractor might not be able to comprehend, without having been on their side of the business.  His streamline approach cut costs and his attention to detail earned M.V. Franks & Associates a reputation of quality, cleanliness and professionalism.

Over the next twenty four years, M.V. Franks & Associates would grow to encompass the Chicago Area.  Relationships with Lincoln Property Company, Central DuPage Hospital, Trammel Crow, Resurrection Hospital, Rush and Edward Hospital, Grubb & Ellis, LaSalle Partners and Cushman & Wakefield – just to name a few, have developed over the many years.  Some major projects with such companies as Helene Curtis, Ford Motors, Cooper Lighting, Countrywide, Microsoft, Kraft & The Federal Bereau of Investigation would be completed.

Quality and pride are given a new meaning at M.V. Franks & Associates because its founder never settled for less.
